We have started a Kindergarten Band. We don't have a name yet, but we have been practicing and practicing. We have been making instrument plans and building our instruments at the art centre. More to come next week.So far this year, we have had 4 Special Helpers for the week. Each week they bring a book from home to share with us and we've liked all of them.

We have started to make a pretend McDonalds in our Let's Pretend centre. We got McDonalds cups and french fry containers. We sell hamburgers and french fries (But don't really eat them! They are only yellow sponges!)We have started to make a classroom alphabet. We made an 'A' with ants, a 'B' with buttons, a 'C' with cotton balls, and a 'D' with dinosaurs. We wonder what we'll make next! We have also listened to letter songs on youtube that taught us about vowels and consonants. Did you know that 'A' is a vowel?
