We have lots to tell you about from the month of June!
We made Father's Day presents and they were key chains with Shrinky Dink paper! We also used pipe cleaners and we painted our hands and the other present is a new tie!
The new Chickadees are coming to our school and they came for a visit in June! Some of our younger brothers and sisters are coming to Kindergarten and we are so excited!
We did a ramp challenge and it was fun! We needed 4 things for the challenge: cylinders, balls, tracks, and blocks. We had to be a team and work together to make it work!
In Math, we had a bean game. We were counting to ten and making sets. We counted all the way up to 1000! That's a lot of beans!
We know our doubles in math. Doubles are numbers that are same and we add them together. Some of these doubles are easy for us to remember when we are counting and adding. 2+2 is 4 and 5 + 5 is 10.
The Police came this week and her name was Officer Jenn. She brought her police car. We got to go in the back seat of the police car and she put on the siren. At the end of the day we got stickers!
We have a water table to keep cool this month! We have 8 funnels, 4 measuring cups, and 3 test tubes to pour and measure with.
At our Doctor's Office we made Health Cards so that the Doctor knows who you are when you are sick. We also made x-Rays so the Doctor can see your bones and tell you what is broken and what happened.
