Outdoor Learning
This week we stayed close to the school and worked on the gardens in the Kindergarten area. We planted tulips in each of the tree gardens. We will have to wait a long time for them to grow but we will be patient.
As we continue to learn about nature we keep going outside to visit a special patch of trees. We decided to make them our class trees. We started this week to make leaves for our tree. Can you guess what kind of tree it is? Stay tuned for the answer!
Play-Dough Fun
We have the best families in room 136! You send in amazing play-dough for us to use! This week we had black play-dough with googly eyes and orange pipe cleaners! It was perfect for spider making! We had so much fun making creepy crawly things! Thank you so much!!
Halloween
We had so much fun on October 31st dressing up and taking photos in our costumes. We even made a class book!
5 little Pumpkins
We worked in small groups to retell the story of 5 little pumpkins using felt pieces. It was fun to make different pumpkin voices. We also made story retell pictures to bring home so we can tell the story to you too!
Halloween Ten Frame
We have been learning about math ten frames and this week for Halloween we had a surprise! We made different numbers to ten using eyeballs!
Kinderstar Assembly
Ms. Edichandy and Ms. Enriquez hosted this month's assembly. They made a Halloween ABC and told the 5 little pumpkin story! We are always excited to see our friends win awards!
